About M'Couls

M'Coul's Pub at 110 W. McGee St., between South Elm and Greene Street in Downtown Greensboro, is one of Greensboro's best bars - a fine drinking establishment with good food and friendly service, with a wide selection of fine beers and ales on tap such as Guinness, Smithwick's Irish Ale, Bass Ale and Boddingtons.

It's not just for beer lovers either - if you like Scotch or Irish whiskey, then M'Coul's is the place for you. Of course, we also serve domestic and imported bottled beer, wine, shots, shooters and other mixed drinks.

When is your kitchen open?
We prepare all the food ourselves in the pub's kitchen and serve food all day, from 11:00 am until 1:30 am. Full menu served until 11 pm. Our extensive late night menu until 1:30 am.

We accept Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover and cash. No personal checks. We do not separate checks for parties of 6 or more. An 18% gratuity will be added to parties of 6 or more. Please no more than 3 separate checks per table so we may better serve all our guests. Cheers!

Who is MCoul?
Finn M'Coul is an Irish folk hero from Knockmany Hill. We think of him as a cross between Paul Bunyan and King Arthur. It is said that in the Age of Anarchy, Finn M'Coul brought honor and courage back to the knighthood. His life of adventure began as a boy, when he accidentally tasted the Salmon of Knowledge. In many tales he appears as a giant and a genius, outwitting his foes and performing heroic deeds.
