I moved to Durham from Greensboro a couple of years ago, and I have to tell
you that I miss M'Couls the most out of all of the establishments in the area!
I often find myself wishing I was still in the 'Boro, JUST so I could order a
pint, eat some delicious food, and be served by some of the nicest staff around.

Kudos to you for establishing such a great pub!

Cheers,
Jen

We have been frequenting your establishment for a few months now. The first
time we had dinner with you, our server was Sarah. Our friends introduced us
to the Burro one night, and it just so happened Ms. Sarah was working that
evening too. Since then we have visited Mcouls three more times, making sure
that Sarah was working. We are so pleased with her service. We love to eat
out and discover new establishments, and appreciate the fine (lost) art of
pleasant and above average service. Not to mention the hard work that, if
you have worked in the industry and can appreciate, we observe her doing
throughout her shifts. We'd appreciate you congratulating Sarah for such
efforts with her clientele and the establishment she works for!!

Thank you,
Matt & Sara!

We just wanted to "Thank You" again for the incredible "Enchanted Evening".
Your generosity & hospitality were overwhelming. Gloria was really touched by
the bouquet of flowers on our table. And our ped-i-cab tour of downtown was
really fun, too. The evening couldn't have been any better... delicious food,
wine, ale & most importantly the company & service. I've always stated that
in my mind, "M'Couls" is Greensboro's "Cheers"!

Have a great day!

You need a smiley face on here that represents "still hurting from the man
wings". I do appreciate the extra effort and time in creating a wing
sauce that could start a forest fire...in the rain forest!!! But hey, as
long as the Boddington's is cold and flowing, burn baby burn.

PS: The bar staff deserves a raise or a helluva Christmas bonus.

Hi Guys, Well..great to find out you have a website so I can email.

I was in Greensboro a few years ago when one night in the hotel room I
could hear Irish music playing in the distance, naturally being a paddy
myself I had to go an investigate so I followed my ear and found your pub.

I went in and asked the guy behind the bar where the music was coming
from and he said upstairs, apparently you had this group that played
there every once in a while on a Sunday afternoon. So I went upstairs
and there was about a dozen folk outside on the terrace playing away but
tunes I didn't recognise, it appears that all they did was 'jamming'
sessions but no matter, I was 4000 miles from home but drinking Guinness
and tapping my feet.

I asked one of the girls there what was the name of that tune but once
she heard my accent then she had to tell EVERYBODY in the group that I
was Irish and then of course they all had to buy me drinks and well, I
don't remember too much after that but I do remember having a great time
and laughing a lot, it seems I may have been the only genuine paddy for
miles around but I had a really great time.

I may be in the area again later on in the year and I shall make a point
of popping in and having another pint or two.

Warm Regards

PS great photos on the website from Paddy’s Night

I love M'Coul's! You guys rock. Everyone who works there is always
friendly and helpful. Question though, what do you guys have going on for
New Year's Eve?? My friends and I are trying to make plans and we wanted
to know if you have anything going on. If you are doing something special
could you email me and/or put it on your website? Thanks!

We sure enjoy our trips up to visit you from Asheboro.

We generally get calamari and a burger

BECAUSE

Corned Beef and Cabbage does not go with a bloody sweet potatoe. ;)

Seriously, a boiled tater in the corned beef water or mashed as an option would
send us to Irish heaven, where they don't eat sweet potatoes.

Please write with a platitude. ;)

PS... Love the web site, now to fix the streets by 2008, Greensboro style.

Cool pub you've got over there! Friend and I drove in from Raleigh and it
was my first time in G-boro. I work in an Irish pub
(www.hibernianpub.com), so it was nice to visit another one and see how
they do it. You guys have more on tap for sure! Bartender (tall guy who
lived in Germany, can't recall name) was a nice dude and kept the pints
full. Looking forward to giving your nightlife a spin so I can check out
the upstairs deck!

Thanks!
