Featured Brews

Young's Double Chocolate Stout now on tap!

It is a smooth as a Guiness but more fulfilling like a good cup of hot coco on a cold day. This is a social pub drink, that I prefer to be served in a frozen mug. More...

Aventinus Doppelbock now on tap!

Dark-ruby, almost black-colored and streaked with fine top-fermenting yeast, this beer has a compact and persistent head. This is a very intense wheat doppelbock with a complex spicy chocolate-like arome with a hint of banana and raisins. On the palate, you experience a soft touch and on the tongue it is very rich and complex, though fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes in a rich soft and lightly bitter impression. More...

Fuller's London Pride now on tap!

This thing is loaded with hops, but well balanced hops. There's this distinctive maltiness to it that seems to balance everything out. The brewmaster put a lot of work into it and you can taste it in the result. At first it's crisp and mellow, and then the malt takes over. It has a pleasant bitter aftertaste, just enough to remind you of what you're drinking. And that of course is an English Bitter, a fine one at that. More...

Some info about M'Coul's

Candace heroically serves a delicious and nourishing pint of Guinness.

M'Coul's is a very friendly pub. It it often said that once you're here it's difficult to leave.

M'Coul's Public House features indoor and outdoor dining, smoking and non-smoking bars and dining rooms, an upper deck with a beautiful view of Downtown Greensboro, and a children's menu.

The pub gets its name from the legendary Finn M'Coul, an Irish folk hero from Knockmany who has been described as a cross between Paul Bunyan and King Arthur. It is said that in the Age of Anarchy, Finn M'Coul brought honor and courage back ot the knighthood. His life of adventure began as a boy when he accidentally tasted the Salmon of Knowledge. In many tales, he appears as a giant and a genius, outwitting his foes and performing heroic deeds. (Heroic deeds are performed daily by our bar staff in the course of serving our customers.)
